Sumerian Tablets* (4,000 BC) In 1849, British archeologist, Austin Henry Layard discovered 22,000 clay tablets in the Ancient Sumerian city of Nineveh, in an area now known as Iraq. The tablets contain cuneiform script, believed to be the earliest writing system, created by the Sumerians 6,000 years ago. Author and Researcher, Zecharia Sitchin spent more than 30 years translating the Sumerian Tablets. In his 1976 book, the 12th planet, Sitchin claims the cuneiform text describe an alien race named the “Anunnaki” who came to the earth from an undiscovered planet in our Solar System, beyond Neptune called Nibiru.
The Ancient drawings include Neptune,Uranus and Pluto, amongst other planetary bodies. It is interesting to note that Neptune was not discovered by mainstream science until 1846’. Uranus, initially named George’s star, was not discovered until 1781 and Pluto not until 1930.

Sitchin’s translation is his translation. Others who have translated the tablets tell a sightly different story. Lots of credible researchers think the Anunnaki are bad, and others think they are good.
